Underground carparks are notorious nesting and roosting sites for pigeons as it provides shelter, warmth and safety. Over time as pigeons establish these areas it creates a build up of foul smells, stain cars and increases the risk of diseases to humans as bird excrements carry bacterial and fungal spores.

VEXO SGL4 tall wide spikes were used in this case as the pipework that needed to be protected was a large diameter. Spikes can be fixed using zip ties or simply with a strong adhesive as with this case.

Spikes are an effective solution to deter pigeons out of underground car parks.
